Suprasorb A

Suprasorb A enables a clean wound environment for heavily exuding wounds, through high absorbency of calcium alginate (origins from natural brown algae). Suprasorb A has ability to absorb high volumen of exudate transforming to a gel state. Gel is formed through ions exchange: Ca (calcium ions) from the wound dressing moves to exudate while Na (sodium ions) migrate in the opposite direction. When the dressing is morphologicaly changed or shaped in the form of wound, the formed gel phaze trapps bacteria, exudate and necrotic tissue and thus beeing mechanically removed. Dressing Change Interval after 5-7 days at the latest.

Suprasorb A + Ag
Suprasorb A + Ag’s combination of natural calcium alginate and antimicrobial silver. Suprasorb A + Ag has a broad antimicrobial spectrum of action and can also be used for clinically manifest infection.

Dressing Change Interval

Is determined by the treating physician based on wound condition, infection status, degree of exudate and secondary dressing; after 5-7 days at the latest.

Suprasorb G

Suprasorb G removes debris and necrotic tissue from deep in the wound bed for lightly exuding and dry wounds.Suprasorb G accelerates the autolytic process.
Dressing Change Interval

When the Suprasorb G gel dressing cannot absorb any more exudate it looks slightly cloudy and should be changed; change at the latest after 5-7 days though.

Supersorb H

An absorbent hydrocolloid layer which is applied to a polyurethane film swells on contact with the wound to form a gel which binds to the exudate and tissue debris. The gel formation enables the dressing to mould itself to the wound structure.Because the dressing repels both bacteria and fluids, patients can wash and shower easily. Suprasorb H thin is available in a 5 x 5 cm size specifically for the treatment of diabetic foot.

Dressing Change Interval

Is determined by the treating physician based on wound condition, degree of exudate and possible primary dressing, after 5-7 days at the latest.

Suprasorb F

Suprasorb F provides transparent protection. The polyurethane film is breathable and flexible, creating a wound environment which promotes wound healing through gas and heat exchange
Dressing Change Interval
Is determined by the treating physician based on wound condition, degree of exudate and possible primary dressing, after 5-7 days at the latest.

Suprasorb P

Suprasorb P absorbs wound exudate quickly and safely because the small-pore PU foam exerts excellent capillary action directly on the wound bed.he semi-permeable PU membrane backing ensures an ideal moist wound environment.
Dressing Change Interval
Change the dressing as soon as the discolouration reaches the wound edges.

Suprasorb C (Collagen Wound Dressing)

Suprasorb C forms a gel when it comes into contact with wound exudate, quickly and efficiently absorbing factors that inhibit wound healing and supports physical haemostasis in the wound. It binds to factors which inhibit wound healing, such as proteases, radicals and cytokines and protects growth factors which promote wound healing. Suprasorb C’s 3-phase effect provides reliable treatment

Dressing Change Interval

Is on wound condition, degree of exudate and secondary dressing, but after 5-7 days at the latest.
* Moistening Suprasorb C lightly with physiological saline solution or Ringer’s solution is recommended for lightly exuding wounds.

Fields of application: wound cover for injuries with extensive superficial tissue damage, e.g.burns, surgical tissue damage and ulcers of various origin and wound cavities

Suprasorb X (HydroBalance Wound Dressing)

Suprasorb X for lightly to moderately exuding, non-infected wounds regulates the moisture levels in the wound through the unique structure of the biosynthetic HydroBalance fibres. So either excess exudate is absorbed, moisture from the dressing is released into the wound or both occur simultaneo
Dressing Change Interval is based on wound condition, degree of exudate and secondary dressing, after 5-7 days at the latest.
Fields of application: lightly to moderately exuding wounds, superficial or deep wounds, non-infected wounds, in all phases of wound healing.

Suprasorb X +PHMB (Antimicrobial HydroBalance Wound Dressing)

Suprasorb X + PHMB is the moisture-regulating, antimicrobial wound dressing for lightly to moderately exuding wounds which are at risk of infection or infected.Suprasorb X + PHMB also contains a proven antimicrobial agent: 0.3% polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB). This dressing is also reliably effective for MRSA and VRE.
Dressing Change Interval is based on wound condition, infection status, degree of exudate and secondary dressing; after 5-7 days at the latest.
Some advice on infected wounds: The dressing should be changed daily
Fields of application: lightly to moderately exuding wounds, superficial or deep wounds, wounds at risk of infection, infected woundsand in all phases of wound healing.
